Nestled in a peaceful community of 60 lakeside units, this brand new unit, unit 11 has access to the crystal-clear waters of West Battle Lake. A short, scenic walk down 20 steps or a gentle ramp leads you to the dock and swimming area, where you can embrace the serenity of the lake. Children and the young at heart will delight in the nearby wooden playground, a perfect spot for family fun. Please note, all amenities are for your enjoyment at your own risk. Before you arrive, we kindly ask that you take a moment to read our house rules listed below. • Dogs are welcome at our property, guests are expected to pick up after their dogs at all times • No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the property • All fires in fire pit need to be supervised and put out by end of night • No parties or large gatherings • All children need to be supervised near lake at all times • Quiet times are 10pm - 7am • All guests are required to complete a pre-arrival form and review our rental conditions to ensure a smooth and memorable stay Pet Rules: House-trained dogs, under 50 pounds only. Maximum of 3 dogs. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside. Dogs cannot be left alone inside the property unless crated. Guests must clean up all dog waste. Proof of vaccination required. Our cozy retreat features two comfortable bedrooms. The master offers a queen-size bed and plenty of storage for your stay. The second bedroom includes both a queen and a twin bed trundle (Daybed) that sleeps 4 along with 2 airbeds—perfect for families or friends—plus a convenient closet. Unwind in the spacious living room with a plush sofa and a 65" smart TV, ideal for movie nights after a day on the lake. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, from an icemaker to a large island where everyone can gather and enjoy time together. There’s one main bathroom in the cabin, plus a nearby shower house to make mornings easy when everyone’s getting ready. We’ve stocked the home with all the essentials—linens, towels, toiletries, and even body wash, shampoo, and conditioner—so you can pack light and relax. The cabin is located at 42502 240th Street, Battle Lake, MN (Cabin #10), on the northeast side of West Battle Lake in eastern Otter Tail County—8 miles from Henning, 9 from Battle Lake, and 21 from Perham. For law enforcement, contact the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department at 911 or 218-998-8555. Nearby hospitals include Perham Health (218-347-4500, 22 mi), Lake Region Healthcare (218-736-8000, 27 mi), and Astera Health in Wadena (218-631-3510, 30 mi). The nearest vet clinic is Lakes Veterinary Hospital (218-864-5695). In case of severe weather, shelter in the ground level of the community center away from doors. Checkout time is 10 a.m.; before you leave, please turn off lights and A/C, lock doors and windows, wash dishes, take trash to the community dumpster, return outdoor items to the bench, and place used towels in the shower. Be respectful of neighbors and follow community rules: no smoking or vaping inside, dispose of trash properly, no fish cleaning indoors (use the fish house and place waste in sealed bags in the freezer), flush only pee, poop, and paper (no wipes or feminine products), and park only two vehicles in your assigned spots. Parties and unregistered guests are not allowed. Boat trailers must be parked in the trailer lot (Spot #4). Daytime boat parking is allowed on the left inside of the dock—no overnight or beach parking. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Dogs must be leashed, cleaned up after, and not left unattended; proof of vaccinations may be required. Fires are allowed only in designated rings. Swim at your own risk, supervise children, and tidy beach items daily. Laundry and extra showers are available in the community building for $1 per load.
