Burrows’ Home (circa 1810), a storybook saltbox brimming with nautical character and classic New England charm. Picture the captain returning from sea and slipping goods through the old cellar door. Mystic history lives in these walls. This listing is for a lovely private guest room in the Captain Burrows Home, ideal for a couple or solo traveler seeking a cozy, historic retreat just a 10-minute walk from downtown Mystic, with sweet water views toward Tufts Cove. ~ Your private guest room does not include a TV (perfect for unplugging after a day in Mystic). ~ The bathroom is just outside your room and is private for your use only. ~ For peace of mind, the bedroom door locks from the inside. It does not lock from the outside. At this time, this is the only private-room offering in the Burrows Home, so you won’t be sharing the home with other room guests.
