The apartment is in a shared historic building, so you may see other guests in the hallway or elevator. One parking spot is included behind the building; the Red Parking Ramp is nearby for additional vehicles. Appleton has plenty of history to explore nearby. Houdini Plaza is a short walk away and marks the area connected to Harry Houdini’s childhood home. The History Museum at the Castle, also on College Avenue, has an interactive permanent Houdini exhibit along with local Fox Cities history. Visiting during the summer? The free Downtown Trolley runs Thursday through Saturday and makes stops throughout downtown and along the riverfront—an easy way to explore without moving your car.
