Deer Run Lodge Guest Quarters is a private suite connected to our main log cabin via a climate-controlled Sunroom (Sunroom is shared if the cabin is also booked). It feels tucked away in the woods yet stays close to stores, restaurants, and local favorites guests mention often. Indoor Highlights *Living & lounging: Seats up to 8 with a sectional + recliner/ottomans. Roku TV with surround sound. *Kitchen: Stainless appliances, quartz counters, spices, and all the cookware guests keep praising. Reverse-osmosis drinking water. *Coffee/tea bar: Keurig, kettle, grinder, starter supplies. *Dining: Table for 6. *Sleep: King bedroom with room-darkening shades + slider to deck; queen pull-out in the living room. *Work: Desk area overlooking the backyard—watch birds and deer while you answer emails. Fast Wi-Fi. *Bath & laundry: Shower, washer/dryer, detergent, iron/board. *Comfort: Central heat/AC; wood-burning stove available in winter (ask first). *Clean & calm: Guests consistently note spotless spaces and low-scent products (no air fresheners; mostly natural cleaners). Sunroom (Shared if the cabin is booked) *Relax year-round with heating/cooling, comfy seating for 6, another Roku TV, a table for games/puzzles, and indoor/outdoor games ready to go. Outdoor Highlights & On-Property Fun *Private bedroom deck with 5-person hot tub (lounger + cover lift), fire table and a propane grill *Shared fire pit with seating and complimentary firewood + skewers *Shared gazebo with fire table—birdsong central *Frequent wildlife: deer, birds, squirrels, chipmunks and the occasional ground hog *Shared regulation-size pickleball court with Sport Court surface (shared with cabin guests). Many guests say you can happily spend the whole weekend on-site. *Yard Games: Spike ball, ring toss, corn hole, Flicken Chicken, badminton, Fishbowl Nearby (guest-loved) *Fox River (paddling, fishing, Marge Cline Whitewater Course) *Raging Waves Waterpark *Silver Springs State Park *Saw WeeKee Park (mountain biking) *Local eats and bar & grills (guests shout out pizza delivery nearby) Your Access You’ll have your own private living area and deck with a fire table, propane grill and hot tub. The following are shared areas: *Sunroom *Fire pit *Pickleball court *Gazebo *Grassy yard areas. Log Cabin and the deck off the Sunroom is reserved for guests who book the Log Cabin. Guests are asked to not enter the garage, wood shed by the Guest Quarters or storage/lean-to. Good to Know *Location: Unincorporated Yorkville on a private, unpaved road—peaceful and tucked away. *Age: Primary guest must be 25+. *Reservation Requirement: Within 24 hours of booking, the reservation holder must complete our secure, app-free Happy Guest verification link. Through one simple link, you will provide a credit card for the security deposit, submit a government-issued photo ID, and sign the rental agreement. Completion is required to finalize and keep your reservation confirmed. *Damage Waiver Protection: Your reservation includes accidental damage waiver protection for eligible, unintentional damage that may occur during your stay. This protection does not cover intentional damage, excessive cleaning, rule violations, or other excluded costs. *Security deposit: $300. *Parking: Limited—tell us your plans/vehicles. *Pets: Dog-friendly with pre-approval. *Any visitors you may have during your stay must be included in your guest count and cannot exceed max occupancy. *The last 0.3 miles of the drive in is on a dirt road. Due to some sections of that road only being 1 lane wide and the pot holes that develop after a rain, you will want to drive slowly and be ready to yield to oncoming traffic. The circular driveway is paved. Wood Burning Stove: Available only when outdoor temps allow—please confirm with host. Wood Burning Stove Package costs $99 for lighting and cleaning. $45 per cart of wood. Package must be ordered at least one day before arrival.
