Heaven in the Heart of the Green Mountains

Green Mountain Cottage is a departure from the typical vacation home rental you will find in the area. It has been decorated with a distinct Mid-Century motif. Enjoy original artwork from William Brokhof, Casey Williams and Leah Giberson, among others. Green Mountain Cottage has a lighter, more open feel than is typical of the area. Great views and privacy, a babbling brook outside the kitchen window...GMC has all the modern amenities, but is situated right on the edge of 25,000 acres of Green Mountain National Forest and the Breadloaf Wilderness. The headwaters of the White River rush by at the bottom of the hill and the forest road will provide weeks of outdoor fun. Fishing, biking, x-country skiing and snowshoeing, hiking, & swimming! Green Mountain Cottage can be rented together with Breadloaf Mountain Cottage for your event or family reunion. The two homes are private from one another, but close enough to walk back and forth in a few minutes. They are separated by some woods and a pond. Total capacity is about 13 in beds/couches, although there is plenty of room for air mattresses, and lots of great spots for hammocks, tents, RVs, etc. Rent the entire 13 acre compound! Rates are based on double occupancy. $30/night/guest after first two. $35 Fido fee charged after booking. Absolutely no pets on the furniture or bedding.
