Nestled on the edge of a forest in the Eola Hills, The Perch is a serene escape with sweeping views of the valley, nearby vineyards, and the rolling Amity Hills. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom modern farmhouse-style home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. The interior is filled with bright, natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The great room features a cozy wood stove, while the fully equipped chef’s kitchen includes modern appliances and a large island, perfect for preparing gourmet meals. Each of the four spacious suites features a comfortable king bed, plush linens, and charming décor, ensuring a restful stay. For your convenience and security: Self check-in is available via a secure keyless entry system. Ample free parking is available on the premises for multiple vehicles. Please note that the garage, an outdoor shed, and one locked storage closet are not accessible to guests. We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless and independent stay. The owner's family lives next door, so while you will have complete privacy in your home, we are nearby if any urgent needs arise. Interaction can be as much or as little as you prefer. To ensure you have a wonderful stay, please keep the following in mind: - Due to our beautiful rural setting, you may occasionally see insects or other wildlife. The home is professionally treated for pests on a regular basis. - The landscaper typically visits on Friday mornings around 10:00 AM. - The hot tub is professionally serviced weekly, either on a Monday or Tuesday. - The wood stove is available for your use. Guests are kindly asked to provide their own firewood. - The home's Wi-Fi can sometimes slow down when multiple devices are streaming simultaneously. - Pet friendly with additional pet fee. Dogs only, no cats permitted. Payment Terms: 50% is due at booking and remainder 30 days before check in. If booking checks in less than 30 days 100% is due at booking. Minimum Age to Book: 21 Additional Rules may apply in Guest Guide Book Pet Policy: We welcome dogs only (no cats) with $100 pet fee per dog paid before arrival; only registered pets with the paid fee are allowed, and dogs must be crated if left alone, kept off the furniture, leashed when outdoors, and their waste cleaned up right away. Cats are not permitted. MINOR PEST & WILDLIFE POLICY: We do not offer refunds for minor pest issues or wildlife encounters. While our properties are regularly treated and well-maintained, our natural environment may lead to occasional encounters with common insects like ants or spiders. It's also possible to see local wildlife, such as mice, chipmunks, or even bears, as they are a part of the surrounding landscape. These sightings do not indicate a dirty or poorly maintained home, but simply reflect the wild setting of the area. The Perch is located about 10 minutes from the little town of Amity. Twenty minutes away is McMinnville - the heart of Wine Country. In addition to the food scene, there are over 250 wineries within 30 minutes of the house.
