The exit from the D1 highway is only 5 km away and the location is absolutely ideal for your trips. All major cities and cultural monuments are within 100 km. At the same time, within 5 km you will find the largest fast charging station in the Czech Republic for your electric car. The cottage is surrounded by forests, various bike paths run along the village, and in winter there is a maintained trail for skiers. Within 15 km there are also ski slopes Křemešník, Světlá nad Sázavou and Čeřínek. In summer, you can swim in our natural swimming pool in close proximity to the cottage or visit the Žabák swimming pool 4 km away in Humpolec. There are several castles and ruins in the area. The most famous is probably Orlík with a newly installed lookout tower, Lipnice nad Sázavou Castle, there is also the famous U České koruny Inn, where the writer J. Hašek wrote his famous novel The Good Soldier Švejk. It is 17 km to Pelhřimov with a beautiful baroque square, 25 km to Telč (registered in Unesco), 15 km to the Želiv Monastery, where monks brew their Monastery beer, which you can also taste here. If you are a connoisseur and fan of classical music, you can visit Gustav Mahler's birthplace, which is 10 km away in the village of Kaliště. There is also a guesthouse awarded with many gastronomic stars and I can fully recommend it. For your little ones, a trip to Jihlava (25km) will definitely be interesting, where there is one of the most beautiful zoos in our country, as well as Agua land or the Robinson children's adventure park. And of course, you can also visit the Bernard brewery and the lookout tower on their brewery chimney, as well as their famous brewery restaurant. We can also arrange a tasting of Bernard draft beer at our cottage, we own all the gastronomic equipment. We can also arrange refreshments in the form of a banquet, or provide various tastings and visits to local farms and farm specialties.
