With that comes typical city sounds, especially before 10 PM. Complimentary earplugs provided in-unit for light sleepers. Use curtains for privacy where windows face the school. 📚 This apartment building is adjacent to a school and during typical school mornings and day, you will hear the sounds of children playing outside. 🪜 Stairs are required to enter onto the main floor of the building to access all listings (about 10 steps!) ⏰ Quiet Hours 10 PM - 7 AM (house rules) 🚭 No Smoking or Vaping Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. East Burnside is Portland's best-kept-secret restaurant row - less crowded than the popular spots but packed with some of the city's most talked-about food. Kann is worth seeking out - Haitian-inspired, live-fire cooking from a Top Chef alum. Book ahead for this special night out. Screen Door is a few blocks away and serves some of the best Southern brunch on the West Coast - the fried chicken and waffles are legendary (get there early on weekends or put your name in online). For a low-key night in, Dimo's Apizza does incredible New Haven-style pizza from a wood-fired oven - order a whole pie or explore their Italian deli. When you need a break from eating, Laurelhurst Theatre is a classic Portland movie pub - catch a film with a beer and pizza. And for something special, Knot Springs is nearby with soaking pools, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge, plus a deck overlooking the river and downtown skyline. It's an easy home base for exploring all of Portland. 🚶 Walking — Inner SE Portland is one of the city's most walkable areas, with easy access to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and nightlife along Burnside, Belmont, and Hawthorne. 🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 12 (Barbur/Sandy Blvd) and Route 20 (Burnside/Stark) connect to downtown.
