House Rules for ANANA Casa Kaab Kaan Deposit Policy: A 50% deposit (including rent, taxes, resort fee, and damage waiver) is required at the time of booking. Damage Deposit: $3,000 USD (in cash) is required as a security deposit against possible damages, refundable at check-out if no damage has occurred. Damage Repairs: Guests are responsible for the cost of repairs for any damages caused during the stay. Failure to report damages upon arrival makes the guest liable for repair costs. Payment Method: Bank transfer or deposit check. Taxes and deposits are additional to the quoted price. No refunds will be issued for changes to the reservation within 10 days prior to arrival, early departures, or due to bad weather, tropical storms, or unforeseen events (including hurricanes or the presence of sargassum). Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid 60 days before check-in. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the deposit. Check-in Procedure: A welcome packet with check-in details will be sent approximately 14 days before arrival. Occupancy: Maximum occupancy: 8 guests. No additional guests are allowed without prior arrangement. Housekeeping Services: Housekeeping service is included in the rates. Events and Parties: Parties are not permitted due to government regulations. Violation of this rule will incur a penalty of $2,000 USD. Music must not exceed 65 decibels. Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed indoors or under thatched/palapa-style roofs. Violations will result in cleaning and deodorizing fees. Quiet Hours: Strictly enforced after 10:00 PM.
