Amenities include an oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, dinnerware, cookware, and the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. A stocked coffee bar is also provided with a combo Keurig/drip pot, K-Cups, powdered creamer, sugar, and Sweet’N Low. 🛋️ Living Area 🛋️ Relax with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and a game table for laid-back evenings inside. 🛏️ Sleeping Areas 🛏️ Whispering Winds sleeps up to 6 with a king bed in the loft, full-size bunk beds in the back room, and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. 🚿 Bathrooms 🚿 The cabin includes 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom. 🔥 Outdoor Living 🔥 Enjoy the massive private hot tub, covered deck with outdoor seating, charcoal grill, firepit, and peaceful wooded surroundings. ♨️ Hot Tub Note ♨️ Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled between every stay for your peace of mind. Because of this, if your arrival falls on a same-day turnover, the hot tub may be cooler than desired at check-in while it comes back up to temperature. If this applies to your reservation, our team will reach out ahead of time so you know what to expect. 🧺 Starter Essentials 🧺 Fresh linens and towels are provided. We also include an Essential Starter Pack to make your stay easier: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, 3 dishwasher pods, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge. Firewood and charcoal are not provided. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas. Please plan to bring charcoal for the grill. 🐾 Pet Policy 🐾 Whispering Winds is dog-friendly with a $100 pet fee covering up to 2 dogs. Please note: the pet fee is not included in the booking total and must be added after booking. Dogs must be crated if left unattended inside the cabin. Unauthorized or undisclosed pets may result in additional fees. 🚗 Parking + Access 🚗 4WD or AWD is required and an elevated vehicle is strongly recommended to access Whispering Winds due to the steep hill and rutted road leading to the cabin. Please review arrival instructions carefully before heading to the property, especially if arriving after dark or during inclement weather. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles, and trailers are prohibited. 🥾 Location 🥾 Whispering Winds is located near Red River Gorge adventure, making it a great home base for hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, scenic overlooks, local restaurants, and more. Spend the day exploring the Gorge, then head back to your hillside cabin for hot tub time, dinner on the deck, and a quiet night tucked into the trees. 📷 Security Camera Disclosure 📷 There is one exterior security camera facing the front door area of the cabin. The camera is exterior-facing only and does not view private interior spaces.
