This charming home was built in 1908 and is located 45 minutes from Tampa/Orlando. Fully furnished, this space is perfect for families and friends providing plenty of space to sleep 8 people comfortably. With games, puzzles and Dvds, backyard fun for kids while the parents watch from the porch. Enjoy downtown entertainment within walking distance! Home is centrally located to dining, shopping, and small town fare. 4 bar restaurants walking distance on the lake. Live music from Lake sometimes. The space Enjoy Old World charm in this beautiful American classic home built in 1908. This home has been updated to offer more modern conveniences. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of home. Other things to note We hope you enjoy your stay! We just want to take this time to point out an important reminder that we do conduct a full inventory check both before you check-in and after you check out. We hope that you will treat our home as if it was your own. Missing items will be charged against your stay and we certainly don’t want to have to do that. The following shows you the costs that may accumulate should items go missing. Small towels = $10.00 Large towels = $20.00 Board games (missing or damaged) = $15.00 DVDs (missing or damaged) = $5.00 Bed sheets = $30.00 Pillow Cases = $10.00 Pillows = $30.00/each Backyard board and bean toss game available. Charcoal grill and propane grill as well as all grilling utensils available at house. We also have a crib for babies and a high chair available and a desktop for people who need a space for work or school. Have a boat? Great! You can find a public boat ramp (on lake Howard) less than half a mile away from the house. Lake Howard is part of the Chain O'Lakes that connects over 15 lakes! You can even visit Legoland a few lakes over and watch their ski shows! Lake Howard also has one of my personal favorite places to watch the sunset. Located half a mile away from the house, in front of the McDonalds, is a small amphitheater that leads onto a dock that is angled in the perfect position to view a sunset over a lake. Not only are you half a mile away from the lakes, but you are also conveniently half a mile away from Downtown Winter Haven. Visit the boutiques, thrift stores, restaurants & bars, and more! ***Please note!!
