Vieques is famous for its unspoiled beaches and natural beauty, including the world-renowned Mosquito Bay, one of the brightest bioluminescent bays in the world. From the villa, guests can easily explore secluded beaches, charming local restaurants, and scenic island landscapes. 📌 Good to Know Before You Book 📌 • Children under 10 years old are not permitted. • The home is designed as an eco-friendly property and does not use air conditioning. Natural breezes, ceiling fans, and screened windows keep the home comfortable. • Quiet hours are 10 PM – 8 AM to respect neighbors and the peaceful surroundings. • A rental car or Jeep is required to explore the island and reach the property. • Golf carts are not permitted on the property. • Vehicles should be reserved at least 3 weeks before arrival, especially during peak travel seasons. The home also features solar-powered systems including a solar pool pump, solar hot water heater, and backup power system to maintain essential services. UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable. • Only Registered Guests are allowed to have access or occupy the Property. • Parties or events are not allowed on the Property, unless approved in writing in advance. • Children under 10 are NOT allowed on the Property or in your group. • Smoking is not allowed inside the house. A $250 cleaning fee penalty will be charged if you smoke inside the house. • No glass to be used near or in the pool. Plastic glasses are available in the downstairs kitchen. • No loud music should be played before 8am or after 10pm. • For the gas grill, guests should close the gas tank supply valve when the grill is not in use. • Charcoal grilling, torches, any fires or fireworks are strictly prohibited on the Property. • No golf carts are allowed on the property for safety reasons --- a $250 penalty if a golf car enters the premises.
