Welcome to Clos Allegria, a 146 m² house with 3 bedrooms, a large private enclosed garden of 2,000 m², a terrace, a foosball table and games for children. An ideal place for a stay with family or friends, in the heart of the Loire Valley and its famous châteaux. Located in a quiet residential area of Amboise, Clos Allegria enjoys an ideal location: the train station is just a 5-minute walk away and the historic town centre is easily accessible on foot. This means you can make the most of Amboise while also having easy access to the region's main tourist attractions. --- Bright and Spacious Ground Floor As soon as you arrive, you'll appreciate how bright and welcoming our house feels. The ground floor faces due south and features four large windows that fill the living area with natural light. The entrance opens onto a beautiful living area of nearly 50 m², warmly decorated and designed with care. A welcoming living room with a large, comfortable sofa, two beautifully restored Louis XIII-style armchairs, coffee tables and a flat-screen TV. A foosball table is also available, perfect for enjoying a fun and relaxing moment with family or friends. A welcoming dining area with a large table that comfortably seats up to 8 people, ideal for enjoying the specialities of the Touraine region together. A fully equipped open-plan kitchen with direct access to the terrace and its outdoor dining area. It has everything you need to prepare meals just like at home: hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, Nespresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine. A few Nespresso capsules are provided for your arrival. A small cleaning kit is also provided for your first night: bin bag, sponge, small bottle of dishwashing liquid and kitchen towels. Please note that everyday pantry items such as salt, pepper and cooking oil are not provided. --- Sleeping Area on the First Floor The sleeping area is accessed via a beautiful modern staircase combining wood and wrought iron. The first bedroom, bright and pleasant, offers a lovely view of Château Royal d'Amboise. It features a double bed measuring 140 × 190 cm and a desk, making it convenient if you need to work remotely or catch up on a few things during your stay. The second bedroom, with its simple and elegant decor, has a double bed measuring 160 × 200 cm and a large wardrobe for storing your belongings with ease. The third bedroom is particularly suitable for children. It has three single beds measuring 90 × 200 cm, including a bunk bed and a separate single bed — the perfect space for children and their sleepover nights! A travel cot is also available for younger children. Bed linen is provided and all beds are made up ready for your arrival. --- Bathrooms and Toilets On the ground floor, you will find a shower room with a shower, vanity unit and toilet. Upstairs, a modern bathroom features a bath/shower combination, a large vanity unit with mirror, a heated towel rail and a toilet. For your comfort, we provide all the household linen: one large bath towel measuring 140 × 70 cm per person, a bath mat in each bathroom and two kitchen towels. A first-night bathroom kit is also provided, including a small bottle of shower gel, a small bottle of shampoo and one roll of toilet paper. --- Terrace and Large Garden The house has a large terrace leading to a private enclosed garden of 2,000 m², facing due south. From the warmer days of spring onwards, you can make the most of this outdoor space with its garden furniture, outdoor poufs, parasol and dining area. Sun loungers and a barbecue are also available. The house is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, while still being close to the centre of Amboise. You can therefore enjoy a peaceful environment after a day of sightseeing. --- Arrival and Departure You can check in independently from 4:00 pm to midnight. Early check-in before 4:00 pm may be possible, depending on whether the house was occupied the night before and subject to an additional fee. Check-out is by 10:00 am at the latest. Late check-out may also be possible, depending on whether another guest is arriving that day and subject to an additional fee. Self check-in is provided via a secure key safe, allowing you to arrive easily, even in the evening. --- Private Parking and EV Charging Clos Allegria has private parking inside the property, with two parking spaces. The entrance to the property is closed and secured at night. A reinforced socket for slow charging of an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle is also available at an additional cost. For faster charging, public charging stations are available approximately 550 metres away in the Intermarché car park. --- Everything Amboise Has to Offer, Right Nearby One of the great advantages of Clos Allegria is its location. Amboise train station is just a 5-minute walk away and the town centre is easily accessible on foot. During your stay, you can discover: Château Royal d'Amboise; Clos Lucé, the final residence of Leonardo da Vinci; Château Gaillard; the pedestrian streets and squares of the historic town centre; the famous Bigot Pâtisserie-Chocolaterie; the banks of the Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the Amboise markets, including the Friday and Sunday morning markets. You can also enjoy the many activities available in the region: cycling along the Loire à Vélo route, canoeing or kayaking on the Loire, exploring the local vineyards or taking a hot-air balloon ride over the Touraine region. The region's major attractions are easily accessible by car, including Chenonceau, Chaumont-sur-Loire, Villandry, Cheverny, Chambord and many other Loire Valley châteaux. Beauval Zoo is approximately a 45-minute drive away. The municipal swimming pool in Amboise is also open in July and August. --- Getting to Clos Allegria Amboise train station is just a 5-minute walk away. The house is also easily accessible by car, with the A10 motorway approximately 15 km away.
