There is ongoing construction work in Spring Creek Mountain Village that may affect your stay. Work is ongoing from 7am - 6pm weekdays, and occasionally on weekends. Spring Creek Village is in a fabulous downtown location just 5 minutes walk to Main St, yet close enough to the highway, allowing a quick arrival and exit to your adventures in the national park and surrounding areas. The Stirling Lounge at The Malcolm is literally next door, and the best coffee shop in town (Eclipse Coffee) is on Main St. Or try the amazing Bridgette Bar just across the road in Tamarack Lodge - you will not be disappointed! Canmore is a very walkable town, and you are an easy 10 minutes walk downtown. There's good, free local transit available too, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (Lake Louise bus is summer only). Connections to Banff and Lake Louse are not free, details are located in the unit. A great way to avoid the traffic in the National Park, especially when you are just heading to Banff townsite, Lake Louise or Moraine Lake!
