Guests are REQUIRED to register online with Emerald Lakes. the property manager will process the registration for all renters. ● $200 registration fee per group (mandatory) for late registrations or last-minute bookings made less than 48 hours prior to check-in Optional community amenities passes are available for purchase at the community office for an additional charge. Children 2 years old and under are free. Fees are as follows: ● 1-day pass - $20 per person ● 3-day pass - $30 per person ● 7-day pass - $50 per person Please note, the fees listed above are not our fees as the hosts, but fees the community requires all guests to pay to cover the costs associated with operating and maintaining all the great amenities and facilities at Emerald Lakes. POOLS: ● Indoor Pool (year-round): Monday, Wednesday & Sunday 11 am - 7 pm Thursday 5 pm - 9 pm Friday and Saturday 11 am - 9 pm. ● Outdoor Pool (summer): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Weather permitting SAUNA: ● Monday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm LAKES AND BEACHES (summer): ● Open from dawn to dusk beginning June 12th. ● Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards on duty. Access to the Emerald Lakes community amenities (such as the pool, lake, beach, etc.) is managed by the HOA and is subject to change without notice. Availability, operating hours, and reservation requirements are outside of our control. We recommend checking the official community website or calling their direct office phone number for the most up-to-date information before your stay. the property manager requires that all guests have their profile 100% verified. Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID after booking confirmation. Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee. A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations. Most channels add this upfront. Others do not have this capability, and it will be manually added to the invoice once the reservation is confirmed. Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free. NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: ShopRite, Weis Market, ALDI. We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank. When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the community without prior notice. A fishing license is required by PA for anyone 16 and older. The community also requires a Emerald Lake Fishing License, which can be acquired at the office. Any fish caught must be released back into the lake. SECURITY CAMERAS / AUDIO RECORDING DEVICES: ● 1 doorbell camera at the main entry door ● 1 floodlight camera on the left side of the house at the driveway ● 2 additional security cams on trees - 1 in front yard and 1 in rear yard Minimum Age to Rent is 25 Township Registration # 021534 By booking our home, you confirm you agree to our house rules, additional fees, & completing a rental agreement. ● Must be at least 25 years old to book this property ● This property can host a maximum of 8 guests, including children and infants, per the local governing regulations. ● Quiet Hours: 10pm to 7am - Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during these times ● No pets ● No unregistered guests allowed - All visitors must be approved by the property manager ● No unapproved parties or events ● No fireworks ● No food or oil down the drain - there is no disposal and the property is on septic ● Flush only toilet paper ● Trash: All trash must be in bags. Place bags in the trash cans inside the bear box that is located under the deck. Properly secure the trash can lids and bear box doors. The trash will be collected weekly. ● Dishes: Wash all dishes, or fill and run the dishwasher when you check-out. ● Do not use the indoor fireplace. It is not in working condition. ● If you open it, close it. If you borrow it, return it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you break it, fix it. If you use it, take care of it. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you move it, put it back. ● Please respect the local habitat. Practice 'leave no trace' and 'pack it in, pack it out.' ● Penalty: $500 for unauthorized late check out ● Penalty: $500 minimum fine for breaking any of our house rules. ● Be sure to read and comply with the Emerald Lakes Community Rules. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find. ● We strongly recommend that you travel in a AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains and roads can be slick and poorly maintained.
