Sleeping & Living The comfortable double bed is the heart of the studio, dressed in fresh linen with warm neutral layers and colourful artwork adding a little character. Bedside tables and reading lights make winding down easy, while the bright, uncluttered layout gives the space a relaxed feel throughout. Workspace A dedicated desk and chair gives you a useful spot when there’s work to catch up on, emails to answer or tomorrow’s plans to make. In-Room Refreshment Area Your own refreshment area keeps the everyday essentials conveniently within reach. There’s a fridge, kettle and toaster, along with crockery, glasses and useful basics for morning drinks, breakfast and simple snacks. Private Bathroom The private bathroom continues the studio’s fresh, modern feel, with marble-effect finishes, an enclosed shower, vanity and toilet. Fresh towels are provided ready for your arrival, so there’s nothing to think about except settling in. Shared Garden When the weather is calling, step outside to the furnished garden shared between the two neighbouring studios. There’s outdoor seating where you can enjoy a little fresh air, sit with a drink or simply take a break outside between plans. Laundry Facilities A shared washing machine is available in the building’s main kitchen area, making it especially handy if you’re staying a little longer. Guests can access this area when using the laundry facilities; however, the communal kitchen is not intended for general cooking. Out & About The coast is never far away. Westcliff seafront, Chalkwell Beach and the Cliffs Pavilion are around 5–10 minutes away, while Southend Pier and Adventure Island are around 10–15 minutes. For a more leisurely afternoon, explore Leigh-on-Sea Old Town, or head towards Priory Park and Prittlewell Priory for a little greenery and local history. Whether your plans involve the seaside, sightseeing, work or simply taking things easy, you’ll have a comfortable spot to return to at the end of the day. You’ll have full private access to your own studio throughout your stay, including the sleeping and living area, workspace, private bathroom and in-room refreshment area. You’ll also have access to the furnished garden, shared between the two neighbouring studios, and the shared washing machine located in the building’s main kitchen area. Please note that the main kitchen itself is not available for guest use — access to this area is solely for using the washing machine. We like to follow our guests’ lead. You’ll have everything you need to settle in and enjoy your stay at your own pace, but if you have a question or need any help along the way, we’re always just a message away. Westcliff-on-Sea gives you a nice balance between the energy of Southend and a slightly more relaxed coastal setting. You’ll have local shops and everyday conveniences within easy reach, with the seafront and some of the area’s best-known attractions only a short journey away. Spend the day beside the water at Westcliff or Chalkwell Beach, catch a performance at the Cliffs Pavilion, or head into Southend for the pier, Adventure Island and its lively seafront. For something a little slower, Leigh-on-Sea is well worth exploring for its Old Town, independent spots and waterfront atmosphere. Local bus services make it straightforward to travel around Westcliff, Southend and the surrounding area, with stops available close to the property. Prittlewell Station is one of the nearest rail options, while Westcliff, Southend Central and Southend Victoria provide additional connections depending on your destination. By car or taxi, Westcliff seafront, Chalkwell Beach and the Cliffs Pavilion are around 5–10 minutes away, with Southend Pier and Adventure Island around 10–15 minutes depending on traffic. Leigh-on-Sea is also within easy reach when you fancy venturing further along the coast. The garden is shared between two neighbouring studios, so we kindly ask guests to be considerate of one another while enjoying the outdoor space. A shared washing machine is located in the building’s main kitchen area and is available for guests to use. Please note that the main kitchen and its cooking facilities are not available for guest use; access to this area is for laundry only.
