🌊 Welcome to Tots Cabin, a century-old lakefront retreat completely rebuilt in 2011 to preserve all of Tot's charm while adding the comforts of modern living. It is privately set beside a wood-edged meadow and overlooks its own private cove on Mallet's Bay. 🏡 The single-story ranch has an open living room and kitchen, the original wood-burning fireplace, and double French doors that open onto a wonderful screened porch with beautiful water views and a dining table that seats 8. The porch is the heart of the house and is a perfect gathering space all night with steady lake breezes throughout the summer. ☀️ Adjoining the porch is a spacious 600-square-foot sun deck overlooking Tots Cove. It receives morning sun and continues to shine throughout the afternoon, making it an ideal spot for relaxing, reading, or gathering after a day on the water. 🛏️ There are two large queen bedrooms with pine walls and water views, a roomy double twin bedroom, and a small full-bedroom off the meadow that once was Great Granny Tot's space. The fourth bedroom is small and best suited for one guest. 🚤 A 200-foot long dock extends into deeper water, providing the property’s best swimming access and space to enjoy the lake. The shoreline is sandy, although the shallow cove has a natural silt and clay bottom, so most guests prefer swimming from the dock. Two kayaks and two paddleboards are available for exploring the cove, and fishing is excellent. 🌿 The property sits at the edge of a quiet 15-acre meadow where a resident bald eagle is often seen in the mornings. Guests may also enjoy the nearby community tennis, pickleball and basketball courts (racquets are provided). 🍳 The modern kitchen includes a farmhouse sink, dishwasher, cooking island, and a generous selection of cookware and utensils. The home also has excellent fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a smart television for streaming, and countless windows that fill the cabin with fresh air and lake views.
