Summerhouse at the riverside

La Gaume, A beautiful region to discover just cross the border of the most southern part of Belgium. A great area for hiking, ornithology, fishing, visiting historic sites, yoga & meditation, painting,... We offer a nice & relaxing stay at our summer house in Villecloye. The house is authentic (1837) with thick old walls and has been renovated completely with all modern conveniences into a one family country house: basic but cosy. The space The accommodation is basic but cosy and has all you need for having a great holiday. In the house there are 3 sleeping rooms: 2 rooms have a double bed and the 3rd room has 2 seperate beds. There are 2 toilets and 1 tall bathroom. The beds our made up and we provide 2 towels per person. There are 2 wood stoves in the house and 3 electrical radiators Guest access Our house is situated closeby the river (l'Othain) and is the last house in a row of houses on a square place. The garden has different levels and has no fences (only a green hedge) We have access to our neighbours garden next to our house en his big orchard with pond wich has no fence either! It is quite common for this region that part of gardens are spread over different areas and sometimes cross the neighbours property. Other things to note Because of the river closeby and the pond on my neighbours property without any fence, kids must be good swimmers! Sorry, there is no TV or internet connection in the house. In our house you come to disconnect from your daily routine and you "switch off" for a moment! We have plenty of books, games and lot's of good music to listen to.
