Pamper yourself with Essential Oils during your stay with the diffusers located throughout the home. AC is available for additional comfort in the summer. For a more natural cooling experience in the evenings, a Quiet Cool system is installed & pulls in the cool evening air while eliminating the warmer air. Three bedrooms are on the main floor (no stairs to access). The 4th bedroom is on the upper level and includes bunk beds, 2 twin floor mattresses & 2 futons in the loft area. On the same level is a full bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and veranda. All levels have panoramic views of the lake. Guests have commented that you have to experience the views in person - the pictures don’t do it justice. The Castle is located at the end of the street at a cul-de-sac. It sits apart from neighbors on either side with just trees on the end. The Tudor House is about a mile away and provides dining and entertainment. The nearest walking destination is the Tudor House approximately 1 mile away. A car is recommended. The property includes a separate unit below the main house. To make this property affordable and reasonable for small groups there is an extra guest fee of $15 per person after 2 people. The house sleeps 12 if all beds are used including 2 futons and 2 floor mattresses. The 2 futons are located in the loft above the Queen room on the upper main living area. The floor mattresses are in the closet of the same Queen room. A BBQ is provided at the house, however, please be aware that we do not refill propane. We will reimburse you if you need to fill the propane. If you will arrive late, local stores may be closed or if it's a holiday may run out of propane so it is advised to bring your own propane tank. if you plan to use the BBQ on the day of arrival. Age minimum is 25 (families with kids welcome). Parking is for 3 cars or 4 small cars; there is EV charging capability with a NEMA-14 outlet - you will need to bring your own cable. For 28+ night stays, please inquire first (not instant book); the following deposits apply: - Refundable damage deposit is $100 - Refundable cleaning deposit is $350 - the cleaning fee is $290. The difference between this fee and the initial cleaning fee paid upon booking will be collected along with the deposits before check-in. Immediately after booking you will receive our short rental agreement to review and accept. For your convenience in cleaning up any messes or spills we provide handiwipes and bar rags as an eco-friendly alternative to paper towels. We also provide Swedish dish cloths instead of sponges. There is a sign in the house explaining the benefits, however if you prefer paper towels or sponges during your stay feel free to bring them. We want to prepare you the best we can for an exceptional stay with us.
