Kota du Lac de Bairon, Nordic bath and sauna

Nice Finnish double Kota on the edge of the Ardennes pastures. Ideal for relaxing in peace and quiet and enjoying nature. The Kota is divided into 2 parts: a living room with grill (fireplace) and a sleeping area (2 small bedrooms) and toilets. Running water outside the Kota (sanitary facilities 30 m away) Come and visit our dairy farm and nursery. Behind the hill, Lake Bairon will be at your disposal: beach, fishing, hiking trails, on-site catering. The space The Finnish kota is a traditional octagonal Saami hut, a people living in northern Finland (Santa's Country!). We chose to install a double kota for more space: about 35 m² of total area. The first octagon is the living room with the grill for grilling around the fire even when the weather is not nice. It is also equipped with a fridge, 2-burner glass stovetop, sink, microwave, raclette grill and everything you need for cooking. The second octagon is the night space. There is a bedroom with a 140 x 190 double bed, a second smaller bedroom with 90 x 200 bunk beds and a 90 x 190 trundle bed and toilet For lack of space, there is no shower in the kota, it is in sanitary facilities 30 m away. Outside, you will find a terrace with garden furniture, Weber barbecue and parasol as well as a relaxation area with a Nordic bath and sauna. 30 m away, the sanitary facilities (shower, sink, separate toilet and washing machine) Childcare equipment is available free of charge: baby bed, high chair and bathtub. Guest access The kota is bordered by a wooden fence. This also helps not to be bothered by the cows because they are very curious. Guests have the terrace, the bathroom is private. The garden is also accessible: you can pick strawberries and raspberries in season. After a swim in Bairon, you can hang your towels on the clothesline. You can park one or two cars in the kota parking lot. A gate secures our property at night (a remote control will be given to you with the keys) We will welcome you and show you around the premises. Other things to note Our capacity is 4 people: adults and children over 2 years old. We can accommodate an extra baby. It is not possible to exceed this capacity.
