Beautiful fortified castle with pool, 42 ha, in the heart of Perche

Emblematic Chateau du Perche built in the 16th century, a historical monument, the castle of the Feugerets awaits you 4km from Bellême in a peaceful 40 hectare estate in the heart of the regional natural park, offering panoramic views of the woods, an English park surrounded by walls with farm animals. A timeless stay with period furniture and all comforts including an outdoor heated swimming pool. Part of the castle is offered as a luxury cottage. The space Dear hosts, We offer part of the castle for rent: namely 6 bedrooms (including 4 queen beds 160 by 190cm, one king size bed 180 by 200cm, 1 single bed 90 by 180cm), four bathrooms with bath or shower, a bathroom, 4 toilets , and a hall of honor, a green living room, a boudoir, a laundry room, a kitchen with a Godin piano, two small fridges, the blue dining room. All rooms have central heating, it is forbidden to make a fire in the fireplaces. Sorted bins must be placed in the bins provided near the Mairie de la Chapelle Souef. The southern part of the castle is inhabited by the owner, and a guided tour can take place every afternoon (except rented part), the outbuildings house one, a tea room, but evenings are possible (possibility of a 100 m2 room for events). The heated swimming pool is open depending on the season (in principle early May at the end of September. BOOKING CONDITIONS upon arrival, we ask for a €3000 euro deposit (check not cashed). Bed linen with towels is available on request and charged 10 euros per person. Cleaning costs are 195 euros per rental. In order to preserve the environment and control the costs, we will calculate together the bedding fees, and the cleaning costs but also the energy costs separately (€100 including charges). The security deposit will be returned less energy costs, (Electricity, water and fuel if central heating), cleaning and bedding costs within 7 days if there is no problem. Please report if anything is broken or missing within two hours of check-in. Guests are required to leave the castle and park in the same state that they found it. The castle cannot accommodate more than 11 people and it is not allowed to bring outside persons for security reasons. The signing of a rental agreement may be requested at check-in for stays longer than a week duration. Accommodation is intended primarily for lovers of old stones, we are currently trying to restore the estate to be enjoyed. Guest access A living room, large vestibule, small dining room, 1st floor gallery, park side wing and north pavilion, all comprising 6 bedrooms. The terrace and garden around the castle and part of the park as well as the heated swimming pool in season. Other things to note Meetings, meals or evenings with family or friends are allowed but reserved for only occupants up to a maximum of 15 people. A longère is also available on the estate for 4 people. The castle has outdoor night lighting. It may be possible to organize larger outdoor receptions.
