Our cozy cabin is nestled in idyllic Laukvik on northern Senja. It’s the perfect place to unwind, embrace the silence, and experience the rich wildlife. On the map, Laukvik is marked with a star as one of the best viewpoints for the midnight sun. Thanks to its ideal location and the absence of light pollution, you can often enjoy the northern lights right from the veranda. Two beautiful beaches lie just a short walk from the cabin, and everything you need for a memorable stay is right here. The space The fairytale island of Senja, Norway’s second largest island, is a true gem of the Arctic. With dramatic mountains plunging into serene fjords, it offers some of the country’s most breathtaking scenery. Idyllic Laukvik, a charming village on the northern tip of Senja, is just 1 hour and 45 minutes from Tromsø city center and only 6 km from the year-round Botnhamn ferry. Our cozy cabin is surrounded by pristine nature, with two beautiful beaches just a short stroll away. Inside, you’ll find three small bedrooms—ideal for a family or up to four guests. The bathroom features a private sauna with direct access to the veranda, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. Wildlife is all around, making every stay here truly special. Guest access Our guests can use the whole cabin and the area outside. Other things to note Laukvik is only 1 hour and 45 minutes from Tromsø (including ferry time)! 1 hour's drive from Tromsø to the ferry over to Senja and the ferry runs all year round. On the trip you will experience magnificent and beautiful nature out to the Arctic Caribbean Sommarøy! The ferry takes about 40 minutes and it is only 6 km from the ferry quay in Botnhamn to the pearl of Laukvik.
