It is a strategic site, opening the gateway from the Languedoc plain to the Cévennes, and from the top of its keep-tower (27 m), it offers a complete circular view of the entire hinterland. The village also has a variety of shops and restaurants, a medical centre, pharmacies and even a clinic. The medieval village is a 5-minute drive away, situated on the banks of the River Hérault, where you will also find numerous restaurants overlooking the river and supplies, shops, supermarkets, as well as a typical Cévennes market on Friday mornings. You can also take a canoe trip down the Hérault. Additionally, this place is perfect for exploring the surrounding area on foot. In warm weather you will find your place on the covered terrace with barbecue and plancha, best for an evening date with your better half. Unless you prefer relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the extraordinary garden with its lush vegetation of varied species, its pond and the breathtaking view.
