Cabin in spectacular nature

This is the perfect place for whoever who wants to isolate from all forms of media and just enjoy the amazing mountains, waterfalls and rivers all day long. The cabin is at Engi, 4km from Fresvik in the western part of Norway. The cabin is original from the 19th century, but renovated in year 2000. There is no electricity or water at the cabin. Fire-pit. gas oven and eco-toilet. Along with the cabin, there is a beautiful "bathhouse" with fire pit, hot tub and barbecue. 7days = 30% discount The space If you're looking for a place to relax, surrounded by spectacular nature, then look no further. This is the perfect place for whoever who wants to isolate from all forms of media and just enjoy the mountains, waterfalls and rivers all day long. Which is quite easy since you are sleeping in the middle of all of the above. For the more active guests, there are also many hiking routes just outside the cabin. The cabin is clean, cozy and filled with all you need from spices to board games. It has no shower or electricity, but a "bathroom" with eco-toilet and a sink. The kitchen is provided with a gas-oven for cooking, and we also have a gas fridge for guests staying for a longer period of time. For heating, we have a fireplace inside tha cabin, and a paraffin stove. All the wood you need for the fireplace, you can find down in the basement of the cabin. The "bath-house" as we call it, is the place to be for cooking on the open fire pit, grilling on the barbecue and enjoying the view while bathing in the hot-tub (which cost 600nok extra for 2days use). We also have a water-hose here, providing you of drinking water if needed. To sum up, if you love the city and modern luxury, this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you want to get away from stress and noise, while at the same time experiencing some of the most wonderful nature Norway has to offer, just book right away :) Guest access Everything. Other things to note You need to rent or bring your own towel/bedlinen. If you want to rent, we charge 100nok/person. During the night, it will get dark since there is no electricity, so it would be smart to bring a flashlight. We will anyway provide you with some candles, and we also have two solar-lamps for lighting and to charge mobile-phones. But we cannot guarantee that they are fully charged, depending on the previous guest and weather. If you are staying for a longer period of time, we also recomand to bring a powerbank. There is bad signal at the cabin, but if you still need signal, you dont need to walk longer than 100m from the cabin (signal at the parking lot). All the wood for the fire pit and fire place is provided by us (and free), so you dont need to bring any wood. We have basis supplies like salt, pepper, oil etc. If you are planning to use the barbecue, it is smart to bring charcoal (or by at the store in Fresvik). There are a free parking-lot 100m from the cabin. We have also a privat parking lot next to the cabin. Use whatever parking lot you want. If you are staying for a longer period of time, and want to use a freezer, feel free to borrow ours down at our farm (5km from the cabin).
