Group Escape in Vielsalm

Large group weekends in the Ardennes usually work best when there is enough space for everyone to settle into their own pace, and this countryside holiday home near Vielsalm does exactly that. Sleeping up to 42 guests across 16 bedrooms, the property is designed for reunions, celebrations, and multi-family stays where long hikes, shared dinners, and late-night conversations naturally shape the rhythm of the trip. During warmer months, most afternoons drift toward the garden and barbecue while children spread between the playroom and TV lounge. Evenings usually gather everyone back together around the bar or projection screen once the forests quiet down outside. The atmosphere feels lively without becoming chaotic, making it especially easy for larger groups to spend time together while still having enough room to spread out comfortably. Lac des Doyards can be reached within roughly 15 minutes and is one of the region’s most peaceful spots for lakeside walks, paddleboarding, and relaxed summer afternoons. La Maison du Pays de Salm lies around 12 minutes away and offers an unexpectedly fascinating look into local Ardennes folklore and coticule stone mining history. Families travelling with children often head toward Aqua Mundo at Center Parcs Les Ardennes, approximately 16 minutes from the property, while Coo Waterfall can be reached within around 30 minutes for riverside cafés, kayaking, and scenic walking routes. Baraque de Fraiture also sits roughly 25 minutes away and becomes one of Belgium’s best winter sports areas during ski season.Group Escape in Vielsalm
