Cottage in Petite Langlire with bubble bath

Group stays in the Ardennes usually work best when there is enough space for everyone to disappear for a while and still come back together easily by evening, and this countryside cottage near Baraque de Fraiture does exactly that. Sleeping up to 22 guests across 10 bedrooms, the house is surrounded by open farmland and forested hills that make mornings feel quiet long before the day properly begins. Most afternoons naturally drift toward the terrace, garden, and barbecue while children disappear toward the outdoor play areas or games room. Once temperatures cool down, the bubble bath and indoor entertainment spaces quickly become the centre of the evening after long cycling or hiking days nearby. The atmosphere feels warm and relaxed rather than polished, especially with the surrounding countryside keeping the pace slow throughout the stay. Baraque de Fraiture can be reached within roughly 13 minutes and becomes one of Belgium’s most popular winter sports areas during colder months, with skiing, sledding, and panoramic hiking trails across the Ardennes hills. Lac des Doyards sits around 15 minutes away in Vielsalm for lakeside walks and pedal boats during summer, while Brasserie d’Achouffe can be reached within approximately 17 minutes for brewery visits and tastings of the region’s famous beer. Bastogne War Museum lies around 30 minutes away for immersive World War II history exhibits, while Ferme de la Planche offers a barefoot sensory trail and alpaca farm roughly 8 minutes from the property.
