The house is located on road 40 between Eksjö and Mariannelund. In Eksjö you can visit the unique cultural heritage-marked wooden town. Mariannelund is known for its Filmby and that Emil in Lönneberga was filmed here. You have many excursion destinations such as Västervik, Jönköping, Wirum Älgpark etc. You have 4.5 km to take a swim in Lake Hjälten and 7 km to Nyanäs and Mycklaflon swimming area where there is also camping. If you want an even bigger bath, there is Nossenbadet in Vimmerby. Fishing licenses are available for purchase in many of the lakes and in the Bruza River.
