The cottage is located at an altitude of 800 meters, but there is plenty of wildlife like moose, beaver, deer and capercaillie. Explore the many fishing lakes nearby, where you can go fishing and swimming. You can experience mountain climbing, moose safaris and rafting. With Hovden as a starting point, you can go on day excursions to many sights in southern Norway.
