Apartment historic centre, quiet, near Bairro Alto
Description
Welcome! Enjoy Lisbon, while living in an all-new, fully equipped, comfortably central-heated apartment in a central historic part of town! Cosy flat on the ground floor in a lovingly restored house from the 1700s, with living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bed room with double bed and modern bathroom. Enjoy best comfort in a great location in LX! The Rua de Pedro Dias is located in Sao Bento, just a short walk from Bairro Alto, and popular line 28E is just around the corner. The apartment...: Easy to access on the ground floor of the house, just one step and no climbing of steep staircases is required! When you enter, you are in the living and dining room with a fully equipped kitchenette. Then, behind a sliding door there's the bed room with an ensuite bath room. The bedroom is lightened through a tiny inner patio which ensures privacy. All in our house is completely new and it was carefully and completely refurbished, so that you can live in the comfort of a most modern house - with nice furniture, central heating, excellent isolation, all fully equipped and ready to live, truly welcoming and cosy. Plenty of space for a couple, and if needed the sofa-bed provides extra space. It will be a perfect home for your temporary life in Lisbon – quiet and comfortable, providing maximum rest and comfort while having a lot to do in walking distance as well. We have put a lot of thinking into our apartment to make it as superb as possible, and we do hope you will love it as much as we do! You will enter the house through the main door no. 30, which is only one step as the apartment is on the ground floor. There begins your space, right behind the very secure apartment door: 1 bedroom with double bed of 1.40 and 1 ensuite bathroom, an open kitchen and dining/living room in the front/south. Beautiful windows to the front. The perfect place to spend your time to relax between your trips around Lx. Here to help...: We will be happy to welcome you at arrival and help with anything that you may need during your stay – just get in touch and let us know! If you want to start planning before you travel: Take a look at the inspiring site LisbonLux, it has great photos and some useful tips for things one can do here. The neighbourhood...: The Rua de Pedro Dias exists since before the big historic earthquake of 1755. Thanks to careful city development, the bairro still carries the flair and looks of ancient times. Our house looks very traditional on the outside, too, but has been remodelled to become comfortable in the interior, with some attention to the detail. Come and live like the natives, in a historic part of a historic town…! Public transport...: The popular electric number 28 stops just down the street – a great start into Lisboa by train and bus. But you may also want to simply walk – if you don’t mind the hills of Lisbon – as you are really centrally located and Bairro Alto is just a few minutes away. Close by is the Convento de Jesus, the Assembleia da República, and many authentic old streets. Not much further you will find all the special sights that make LX so special. Parking...: Is not allowed in the streets of the area – residents only – but a public parking space is available on Largo de Jesus (or Calcada do Combro is another one with a hip rooftop bar - Parque). Metered parking is available but hard to get a few streets away. Blend in! Please respect the original residential nature of this neighbourhood: Most of your neighbours will have to get to work early on the next day! Remember, the next parties are only a short walk away in Bairro Alto. :-) And you could tune in to Amália FM on 92.00, to get into the proper Lisbon mood with fado music...
