Welcome to Hagalund!

Traditional Swedish cabin in beautiful surroundings. A few minutes to the closest lake by foot, nice hiking terrain just outside the door, and of course the climate of the Swedish east coast, sunny and warm. The cozy town Gamleby (= Old village) is 15 minutes away. Gamleby is at the end of Gamleby coastal inlet which leads to Västervik, a city with 21,000 inhabitans, a diverce city with restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can get to Astrid Lindgren’s world in Vimmerby 40 minutes by car. The space The cabin is from around 1905, but it got an extreme make over in 2017 so everything feels new and fresh. The cabin is located on a fairly large land lot with space for outdoor activities. Two bedrooms with 4 standard beds and 2 extra beds, in total 6 beds. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook, included a dishwasher. Newly constructed bathroom with shower, WC and basin. Guest access In Hagalund everything is facilitated for you to have a good time in authentic Swedish style. (Remeber to bring your own bed linnen and towels!) Make your self at home - and please sign the guest book before you continue your travels. Please note that all guests must leave the cabin in the same state as when you arrived. All kinds of cleaning equipment is made available to the guests. If the cabin is not sufficiently cleaned, a cleaning fee of SEK 2000 / € 200 will be charged. When placing a booking, you agree that you are responsible to leave the cabin in the same state as when you arrived. Other things to note You have to bring your own bed linnen and towels. There might be hand soap and toilet paper available, but this depends on the guest before you. I would reccomend that you bring your own soaps and toilet paper, just in case. Dishwasher soap, both machine and hand dishes, is in the kitchen. During the summer season, we depend on guests to keep our house clean and tidy. We trust our fine guests that you will keep the good standards.
