A stunning ground floor apartment in the much-loved Welsh seaside village of Aberdovey Westhaven One is a ground floor apartment right in the heart of Aberdovey, opposite the Yacht Club and the beach, and close to local amenities. There isn’t a better location to be for those looking for a seaside escape. Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline and has a history dating back hundreds of years. Please note there is a wonderful tapas and wine bar called Luna & Blu's situated beneath Westhaven One, which has proven very popular with locals and guests alike. Obviously there can be some noise when it is open, generally Thursday–Sunday evenings until 11pm. If you are planning on visiting Luna & Blu's, please let us know and we will provide you with a money off voucher towards your bill. Please collect the keys from the Beskoohome key safe (below the apartment down the right hand set of stairs). Yours is the key safe in the middle, and the code will be sent to you There are two train stations within a ten minute walk of your apartment with direct trains available from Birmingham. You will be given a free car park permit for the duration of your stay, this is valid for the car park across the road from the apartment. We live nearby and are available via text, email or phone. You will also be given details for the cleaning team should you need any assistance during your stay. Right opposite the beautiful sandy beach and close to everything Aberdovey has to offer you really couldn’t be in a better position to enjoy your holiday! Ground floor apartment beautifully furnished and decorated with a spacious lounge and dining area facing the beach, a well-appointed modern kitchen, one double bedroom with en-suite, one king sized bedroom, family bathroom with shower and bath, fabulously equipped kitchen, laundry facilities including washing machine and tumble dryer. FREE PARKING PERMIT FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY! When you have collected your keys please use the left hand entrance to Westhaven. Once inside your apartment is situated straight ahead. Whenever you leave the apartment you will have to manually lock the door with the Yale key as it does not lock automatically. Please feel free to use anything in the apartment including the deckchairs in the hall cupboard. There are spare quilts and pillows should you need them and cosy throws in the cupboard under the TV. There is a small grocery store in the Village and also a Post Office and Spar up under the bridge towards the train station just past the car park. There is also a fabulous butchers ( their short back bacon and Laverbread sausage are first class!) and a deli on Copperhill Street. For larger grocery shops there is a Co-op in both Tywyn and Machynlleth that can arrange for your shopping to be delivered or you can do an online shop with Asda or Tesco. There is also a Pharmacy in the village should you need it., and the nearest GP surgery is in Tywyn. Please remember to lock the doors, close windows and turn off all light switches, whenever you leave the property. The apartment door does need to be locked with the Yale key. PLEASE REPLACE THE KEYS TO THE SAME LOCATION YOU OBTAINED THEM WHEN YOU LEAVE. RUBBISH AND RECYCLING: Household waste: Please take all rubbish with you when you leave. There are general waste and recycling bins across the road on the main beach car park. HEATING: The controls for the heating are in the hallway. The boiler heats water on demand, so there will always be hot water available. Please put the heating and water off when you leave. There is a tumble dryer and washing machine in the hall cupboard nearest to the kitchen. WI-FI: The Wi-Fi hub is: EE-285FGK The passcode is: U4PnpNkVwymc6cYn FUSE BOX: Location: As you enter the apartment, in the cupboard opposite the door ROOM BY ROOM All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided for you. There is a double bed in the main bedroom and a king size bed in the second bedroom. In the lounge there are 2 double sized bed settees. We’ll have asked you which beds you require when booking, but if your needs change, do let us know, so we can organise the correct bedding. KITCHEN: There is a Rangemaster double oven with gas hob and electric oven. The clock needs to be set for the oven to work simply press the first two small black buttons together. The American style fridge freezer has a cold water and ice dispenser (switch the ice maker off at night if using the sofa beds in the lounge!) There is a Nespresso Vertuo pod coffee machine with a small supply of pods. There is also a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. Please feel free to use anything that is in the cupboards and just replace anything substantial. LIVING ROOM: There is a SMART TV for you to enjoy your favourite apps and streaming services – simply turn on and login to each app using your subscription details. The table in the window extends out if you need a bigger table. In the corner of the lounge you’ll see a telephone mounted on the wall - this enables you to let people in through the main front door when they press button 1 on the keypad outside. Lift the telephone and press the button with a key symbol on it - there will be a buzz heard outside which means you can push the door open Please remember to close the windows if you’ve had them open. BEDROOMS: The main bedroom has a double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and an en-suite bathroom. Please leave the window open as much as possible in this room to help remove any condensation from use of the shower. There is a dressing table with a hairdryer (in the drawer underneath or the bedside tables). There are several spare pillows and quilts in the cupboards. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and bedside table with a built-in wardrobe and wall mounted mirror. Please don’t go out of the door in the second bedroom this isn’t a space for guest use, but please leave the key in the door as it does serve as a fire escape. The outside space does not belong to us personally and so we are not insured should you be injured out there be assured there is no external pedestrian access to his area. MAIN BATHROOM: Bath, adjustable overhead shower, sink, WC & heated towel rail. The bathroom window is best always left on vent even when you leave to keep it aired
