Our house stands in one of the 144 New Countryside in Poland. Ours is on the border of the Wel Landscape Park, where Wel flows as worth as a mountain river. The house stands on a hill and overlooks Lake Rumian from its windows. As the old maps show, it's about a hundred years old. We tried to create an atmosphere in it so that everyone could feel like it used to be, on vacation with a loved one. Guest access In the morning, at dawn, you need to pack a backpack with sandwiches and go for a walk in the meadows, fields, where you can share with deer, deer, or other wildlife that you can see, eat breakfast together. After a walk at noon, take a boat and swim around Rumiana when a boat isn't enough, kayak, and sail a few kilometers down the Wel River. We have an afternoon, so it's time to run or bike around Lake Rumian (about 15km), and after all, bathe in the lake so you can catch the fish peacefully. It's evening, before the barbeque or bonfire, it's time to enter the garage and play ping-pong. It's time to rest in front of the TV, because tomorrow is another day. The next day you might want to explore - Dąbrówno, Grunwald, open-air museum in Olsztynek. The tour is over, it's time to go back to the cottage on Rumian and read something… and it's running out of time.
