Other Things to Note A few important details to know before booking: 📝 Rental Agreement Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage It takes about two minutes — there is no app to download and no account or password to create We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete 🚗 Parking Enter the driveway at the rear of the property, through the privacy gate Guest entry is at the back door 🗑️ Trash The trash bins are just inside the privacy fence City pickup runs twice a week Please bring a bin back the same day — it can't be left at the curb overnight ⏰ Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Every request has to be manually approved Check with us and we'll check with our cleaning company Fee: $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum Please request as early as possible 📹 Security & Noise Monitoring Motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the entrances and outdoor areas of the property No cameras monitor any indoor area Exterior cameras may record audio and video An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only The noise monitor does not record audio or video and is not placed in any bedroom or bathroom 🔑 Minimum Booking Age The primary booking guest must be at least 21 for an apartment and 25 for a single-family house The primary guest must be present throughout the reservation The primary guest is responsible for their group, visitors, and compliance with house rules Reservations that misrepresent the primary guest's age may be canceled in accordance with the applicable booking terms Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the house. You may access any space inside the house other than the locked supply closet. This home has an electronic smart lock on the back door, which is the guest entrance. Driving or taking an Uber is the best way to get around Montgomery. ARRIVING: This home is in the historic Capitol Heights neighborhood. The GPS should bring you straight there. Enter the driveway at the rear of the property, through the privacy gate. Guest entry is at the back door, where the smart lock is. PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR EACH TIME YOU LEAVE AS IT DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO LOCK FEATURE. DEPARTURE: Checkout is at 11 am. Your full checkout instructions are in your digital guidebook. TRASH: The trash bins are just inside the privacy fence. City pickup runs twice a week. You're welcome to roll a bin down to the road, but please bring it back inside the fence the same day — bins can't be left at the curb overnight. SLEEPING: There are two king beds and one queen bed in the home as well as an air mattress that can sleep a total of 8, if needed. If you need any additional towels or linens, feel free to send me a message and I'll have more brought by for you. TV: This property has Smart TV's with Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, and others. Simply scroll to the corresponding app, login with your credentials, and experience unlimited streaming movies and TV shows. EARLY CHECK IN REQUESTS: Early check-ins have to be manually approved. Our cleaning company arranges an additional cleaner so the home is ready at your requested time, which is what the $20 per hour covers. Message us and we'll check with them. PLEASE NOTE: CHECK IN TIME IS ANYTIME AFTER 4PM. The code you've been provided will only work starting at that time. Please make your travel plans accordingly. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Fireplaces are not for use. Please be mindful when exploring the areas outside. Many repurposed materials were used for the walkways and can sometimes be uneven or slick. This listing has sliding barn doors. Please be mindful of kids playing in and around these doors as there may be potential for injury if used improperly. Please also mind your steps into the bathrooms. There is a small step that we don't want you to trip over.
