Other Things to Note A few important details to know before booking: 📝 Rental Agreement Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage It takes about two minutes — there is no app to download and no account or password to create We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete 🏡 Property Setup This is one side of a duplex — the neighbouring apartment is a separate listing and may have other guests during your reservation Your apartment is private and exclusively yours Two storeys, with both bedrooms upstairs 🚗 Parking Front driveway with room for two vehicles, one behind the other 🚪 Getting In The smart lock deadbolt is on the front door 🪜 Stairs Stairs are required to reach both bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom There is a full bathroom downstairs 🛁 Bathrooms One full bathroom downstairs and one full bathroom upstairs Both have tub and shower combinations 🌳 Outdoor Space Backyard with room to enjoy some fresh air Pet-friendly Some areas of the yard have roots and can be uneven underfoot 🧺 Laundry Washer and dryer in the laundry room, accessed from the back patio The laundry room code is in your digital guidebook 🗑️ Trash The bin is on the side of the apartment Sanitation picks up from the road Please bring the bin back the same day — it can't be left at the curb overnight ⏰ Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Every request has to be manually approved Check with us and we'll check with our cleaning company Fee: $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum Please request as early as possible 📹 Security & Noise Monitoring Motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the entrances and outdoor areas of the property No cameras monitor any indoor area Exterior cameras may record audio and video An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only The noise monitor does not record audio or video and is not placed in any bedroom or bathroom 🔑 Minimum Booking Age The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years old for an apartment The primary guest must be present throughout the reservation The primary guest is responsible for their group, visitors, and compliance with house rules Reservations that misrepresent the primary guest's age may be canceled in accordance with the applicable booking terms Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the house. You may access any space inside the house other than the locked supply closet. Park in the front driveway, which has room for two vehicles back to back. The smart lock deadbolt is on the front door. Please follow these directions, step-by-step, in order to get into the house and you shouldn't have a problem. ARRIVING: The GPS should bring you straight there. Pull into the front driveway of the home — it has room for two vehicles behind one another. The home is equipped with an electronic smart lock deadbolt on the front door. PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR EACH TIME YOU LEAVE AS IT DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO LOCK FEATURE. DEPARTURE: Checkout is at 11 am. Your full checkout instructions are in your digital guidebook. TRASH: The bin is on the side of the apartment. Sanitation picks up from the road. You're welcome to roll it down, but please bring it back beside the apartment the same day — bins can't be left at the curb overnight. SLEEPING: There are two queen beds and one king bed in the home, as well as an air mattress, sleeping a total of 8 if needed. Both bedrooms are upstairs. Both have tub and shower combinations. TV: This property has Smart TV's with Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, and others. Simply scroll to the corresponding app, login with your credentials, and experience unlimited streaming movies and TV shows. LAUNDRY: The laundry room is accessed from the back patio and has a washer and dryer. Its code is in your digital guidebook along with your door code. EARLY CHECK IN REQUESTS: Early check-ins have to be manually approved. Our cleaning company arranges an additional cleaner so the home is ready at your requested time, which is what the $20 per hour covers. Message us and we'll check with them.
