Ta Mill Farmhouse near Tintagel

Ta Mill house has character and features of past times. The stone and slate house has two large reception rooms and four large ensuite bedrooms. With cosy wood burner and large farmhouse dining table, it's a great place for family gatherings, turning evenings in to a social event and plenty of room for all. Ta Mill is a secluded rural hideaway set in a peaceful hollow of 45 acres on the fringes of Bodmin Moor, offering self-catering accommodation in selection of cottages, chalets and lodges. The space This large, historical accomodation offers comfort and space. It is a beautiful old farmhouse that can sleep up to 9. It's surrounded by a lovely garden, overlooking the central courtyard at the front, and giving a view of the orchard, sauna & plunge pool, and the gorgeous sunrises (if you're up early enough) at the back. The front door opens into a roomy, flagstone corridor on the ground floor. On your left is a large lounge, which has a television, a wood burner to keep it cosy and lots of comfortable seating. To your right is a large dining room with an aga and family size dining table. The kitchen is very well equipped. With a large range cooker, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, fridge freezer and dishwasher. All you need to prepare those heart-warming meals with friends and/or family. There is a utility room just off the kitchen, with a washing machine and tumble dryer. And to complete the downstairs is a large family bathroom, with bath, wash basin and toilet. Upstairs there is four ensuite bedrooms. Bedroom one at the top of the stairs is a family room with 3 single beds, a fitted wardrobe with drawer unit, bedside drawers and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and toilet. Bedroom two is a spacious double room, which has a four-poster double bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin, bidet and toilet. Bedroom three is a spacious double room, complete with double bed, bedside drawers, wardrobe, chest of drawers, television and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and toilet. Bedroom four is a spacious twin room with a zip and link option to create a super king size bed. This room also has a television, wardrobe, bedside drawers and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and toilet. Towels, Bath Mats, Toilet Roll and Bed Linen are all provided. There is a nice walk alongside the stream to the fishing pond. It is a beautiful site and you will be able to relax and unwind whilst exploring a lovely part of Cornwall. Guest access Enjoy the site with the pitch 'n' putt, children's play area, nature trail and games room, which offers a dart board, 2 pool tables, 1 table tennis table and arcade machines. Plenty to keep you entertained if the sun isn't shining. A visit to our farmyard will give you a closer look at the geese, ducks, sheep and alpacas as well as our pygmy goats. Alpaca feeding is on offer at 10am every morning. Booking is necessary. We have a wood-fired sauna on site that is available at £15 per adult, per hour. Booking is necessary. Other things to note There may be other people staying on site in other accommodation, but you have your own walled garden and patio and will not be disturbed by other guests. We allow HOUSE TRAINED dogs in this lodge. Pets must not be left unattended in the accommodation at any time. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture so please bring your pets bed with you.
