Point Arena is a "hippie hamlet" located on the Mendocino Coast about 3.5 hours north of San Francisco. Local treasures include an historic lighthouse, beautiful art deco cinema, organic Co-op Market and several great restaurants. Local sports include kayaking, hiking and biking along the coast, fishing, diving and and surfing off the pier. Inland about 1 hour is Anderson Valley which boasts numerous free wine tastings. Guest access Due to the nature of our unique property, guest are not allowed to walk around the animals or enter the Giraffe house. NO PETS in cottages. A tour is offered at a reduced rate which can be booked on our web site. Children are NEVER allowed around the property without parental supervision. We also ask that they keep noise down to a minimum. No pets in cottages but is an option for other available lodging. Check our website. Other things to note We will leave your paperwork with a map to your unit on the front door of the main house for contactless check in. There are no keys.
