There are also portable electric heaters that can be used in different rooms and a separate electric boiler provides the hot water. The solid fuel Rayburn range runs off coal which needs to be kept alight to heat the water for the radiators to work from. Coal is provided for this. There is also an open fire in the lounge upon which logs can be used.
