The gorgeously designed house is located in a generations old family property and derives from the reconstruction of an ancient haystack made of stone where rabbits were once bred - hence its name (“Casa dos Coelhos” stands for “House of the Rabbits” in Portuguese). The space About 150 meters away from the main residence - home for the family for most of the year - Casa dos Coelhos is surrounded by the grapevines and olive groves from which exquisite wine and olive oils are produced, every year. The outside patio is a gateway to a breathtaking landscape of sky, mountains and pure nature in its wildest form, so look out for the partridges, wild rabbits and occasional foxes one may spot while contemplating the magical sunset.
