The entrance to the home is through an enclosed courtyard with a fountain, outdoor cooker and magnificent Bougainvillea tree. The oceanside patio has its own dining table, chaise lounges, fire pit, and an outdoor whirlpool tub to relax and take in the beauty of the stars and sea. There are two full size washers and dryers. Pets are allowed with a security deposit. Kayaks and life jackets are provided. For over 20 years we have enjoyed the peace and beautify of this place, the spellbinding sunsets and the charm of the city. As frequent visitors to Puerto Penasco, it became impossible for us to ignore the plight of many of the street dogs suffering from illness, starvation and sometimes outright cruelty. On several occasions we took abandoned, sick and starving dogs back to the United States to be rehabilitated and to find loving “forever” home. A few years ago we encountered Barb Mumbach, who operated Barb’s Dog Rescue, about five miles north of town. She is an incredible woman who has struggled to help these poor dogs in any way that she can. She cares for them at the rescue providing food, medicine, and lots of love. She has also arranged for spaying and neutering, as well as many successful adoptions to the United States.. No smoking inside the property. Quiet hours after 10pm-7am. Conserve and use water properly. Return keys at the property manager office. Throw away trash. Turn things off and lock up when leaving the property.
