MID-STAY CLEANING: For stays of 14+ days, a mid-stay professional cleaning will be included at no additional charge (because no one wants to clean toilets on their vacay!). We can schedule a time when you'll be out adventuring. FIRE PIT AND CHIMINEA: We have a wood-burning fire pit and a separate chiminea; however, we do NOT provide wood. If you’d like to use it, please let us know ahead of time so we can check on the current fire warnings for our area. GOLF: Let us know in advance if you’d like to use the golf driving range — we’re happy to set up the net for you! WASHER/DRYER: This is a small, all-in-one European-style unit (~2 outfits per load). We provide unscented detergent and fabric softener. HOT TUB IN THE SUMMER: The hot tub is not available as an amenity from June - August. Why? When outside temps soar over 100*, the sun heats the water to unsafe temps. Yes, we know it sounds cheesy but you'll love it! ;) You’ll have access to the entire guest house, shared backyard, and a dedicated parking spot. OUTDOOR KITCHEN: The oven, sink, and prep area are available for guest use. The grill is not available for guest use. POOL: The pool itself is not included as part of the listing; however, you may use the loungers and umbrellas by the pool. Since Tucson is very spread out, and Lyft or Uber can get expensive, we suggest renting or bringing your own car. A local coffee shop, local taco shop, and McDonalds are just a 2- minute drive or 5-minute walk from home. Downtown Tucson is about 20 minutes away. When possible, we greet our guests at arrival to show you around and answer questions. We love hosting because we get to meet awesome people from all over the world. We'll follow your lead with how much interaction you'd like - we love to talk about travel, food, craft beer, running, and all things Tucson, but are also happy giving you space! We live on premises and request quiet hours after 10 pm (this doesn't mean you can't be up after that - just keep the volume down!). We have a large chocolate labrador who is friendly and love to bark when you come and go and will love it if you play ball with him. He is mostly an inside dog and is quiet during sleeping hours. Our life is basically a constant HGTV show, as we are working on renovating our house and yard. We are DIY Weekend Warriors, so expect to see us doing projects and gardening around the house. This is a quiet, safe residential neighborhood with desert landscapes and stunning mountain views. You’ll likely see wildlife, especially at dusk. It's a quick 5 minute walk to Roadrunner Coffee and a great hole- in-the-wall burrito shop! If you'd like to go for a scenic walk or jog through the neighborhood, let us know. We have tips on routes! It's also a quick drive to the Christina Taylor Greene park where you can easily park and access The Loop. Please shower before entering to help maintain clean water. 🧹 We have a thorough cleaning protocol to ensure all surfaces are sanitized and use unscented laundry cleaning products. We're also eco-friendly and provide personal care and cleaning products from Public Goods for our guests to use. Eco features include recycling, a dual-flush toilet, energy-efficient LED lighting, and a sink water filter so you can get great quality water straight from the tap. Don't forget to pack a reusable water bottle! 🔐 For your safety, we program a unique code for each guest into the Schlage Encode keypad lock. We do not recycle or reuse door codes or have keys that could be copied. PLEASE NOTE: The casita is on the same property as the Oasis Airstream, which has its own separate space. Guests will have their private areas, and you may see others coming and going in the driveway.
