Lake Osceola Cottage-5 min from DT Hendersonville

Our quiet and quaint cottage is over 75 years old and is greatly cared for! Enjoy the peaceful & quiet deck, tucked away in the trees, overlooking Lake Osceola! Our cottage will give you a sense of peaceful seclusion while only being 5 min from downtown Hendersonville. Go swimming or kayaking by using nearby access points, or just enjoy an afternoon walk around the lake and soak up all the peacefulness of our beautiful neighborhood! The space We are located just a short drive from Hendersonville, Asheville, and Brevard. We are 30 minutes from the famous Biltmore House, we are 20 minutes from Dupont State Forest. We are only 15 minutes away from the Asheville Regional Airport. Western North Carolina has much more to offer: • Pisgah National Forest • The Blue Ridge Parkway • Sliding Rock • Chimney Rock • Hiking • Biking • Climbing • Fishing • Swimming, and so much more.... Our cottage will sleep up to 9 comfortably in the warmer months and up to 8 in the colder months. As the twin bed is located in the sunroom. Bedroom 1: has a queen bed and en-suite closet. Sunroom: Twin bed Note- that the sunroom has a back door access point to the deck. Common room: 2 queen beds with 1 usable closet Note- this room is separated by hanging curtains from the 2nd dining room. The couch bed is located by the dining room. Front door access is through the common room. Kitchen: Fully stocked kitchen with everything you may need to prepare a meal. We offer both a Keurig and basic carafate coffee pots! Living room: Enjoy 2 comfy couches by the fireplace and those colder nights. Apple Tv is available for all of your streaming services. Note: we do not provide streaming logins BYOL (bring your own login) There is a washer and dryer available for your use located just off the common room. Bathroom 1: Smaller full bathroom, with plenty of space for you get ready time! This is a shower/tub combo. Bathroom 2: Is a large full bathroom, great for those staying in the common room, to have plenty of privacy while getting ready! This is a standing stall shower. Guest access Whole house and yard within the fenced in area. Other things to note Lost Horse Lane is a one lane, un-paved driveway. Some cars that are lower to the ground make have trouble. Ex: sports cars NOTE:The lake is controlled by the nearby Army Corp. but has only been drained 1 time in the last 5 years due to being in a drought that year. No private dock-but public access points available very close by.
