It overlooks the Yazoo Diversion Canal, the Mighty Mississippi River and Bridge on one side and facing the Old Court House and Historic downtown on the other. This building dates back to the 1800's and was used as an old speakeasy in the roaring 20's. It features an open concept kitchen, dining and living room with a guest bath This loft was designed to have as many original features as possible, such as exposed wood beams, brick walls and old wide planked wood floors. The views are wonderful from the floor to ceiling windows in the living area to the original windows in the bedroom overlooking Downtown Vicksburg. The bedroom has four ceiling fans to lull you to sleep and a jacuzzi tub with a rain shower to refresh you in the morning. Please note that the loft is up two flights of stairs and sits on the top floor of our downtown building to provide the best views of the water !! Guest have the entire third floor to themselves. This is the only unit in the building. Very private Due to Covid - we have a lockbox for guests to use. The loft is in the heart of Downtown Vicksburg. Just steps from Vicksburg's one and only rooftop restaurant and bar- 10 South. You can walk to all the great local shops, restaurants, nightlife and museums. When staying at the loft, you have free on street parking at your front door and are just steps from all that Downtown Vicksburg has to offer!! Vicksburg is known for many things and is often called the “Hill City” so guests should be prepared if they plan on walking around. This apartment is on the third floor of the building so be ready for two flights of steps!! But on the bright side you will get your work out in without having to go to a gym
