Giacos roadhouse is an amazing place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! They have a pet friendly patio, live music Saturday. Happy hour 😊 full bar and lots of NON ALCOHOLIC cocktail options for those who do not drink, and beer on tap and in bottles. They have the most amazing cocktails with all the fixings. Friday thru Sunday 3-5 is HAPPY HOUR! Or Arti’s down the street with amazing Indian food beer and wine too! The famous Papermill saloon just RE- opened!!! Live music, full bar, cozy wood burning stove and lots of fun for locals and music enthusiasts! You can walk down the street! Extra bonus: Bath Robes and slippers to slip in and relax while you stay. Outdoor bonus patio: More for the summer fun . There is a large gas BBQ, on the patio with Corn hole games,Bucket golf, and a golf net to take some swings and practice. Swing on the swing for 2 looking out at the gardens. As seasons change with rain so does the look of the property like Mother Nature intended. Unexpected weather happens and so things will be taken in and or down due to weather. A view of a beautiful garden with a mini orchard of cherries, peaches, apples, plums, figs, grapes and roses surrounding the huge bonus patio with places to sit and relax, but you have your own very private covered porch with everything you need to relax with outside your bedroom door. Depending when you visit depends on the seasonal changes and colors you will see. Sauna is up the hill to the left in its own gazebo with chairs and table to relax . Hot tub is up the hill to the right all private looking down on the property and gardens. Walk to the bottom of the road to your left down the road to find an all organic farm stand with beer, produce, seafood and red meat, coffees cookies and so much more! There is an organic coffee shop with delicious pastries, coffees, lattes and a small Antique store! Across the street Getting hungry? Giaco’s Valley Roadhouse is just over a mile down the road to the left and they serve mouth watering breakfasts, lunches and dinner! My favorite item on the menu is the Eggs Benedict! They also have a full bar!! And live music! Large outdoor patio ( dog friendly!) They are closed Monday- Tuesday. Right across the street at the bottom of the hill ( you can walk to it!) you will find the famous Paper-mill Saloon where you can enjoy live music, friends and drinks! Or sit next to the fire with your drink. Incredible Indian food at Artis to the right down the street in Lagunitas is fabulous! Two miles down the road to the left, right past Giacos Roadhouse you will find the old San Geronimo Golf Course (that is now a dog park or place to walk and sit and admire the ponds.), or… Spirit Rock meditation center, and Roy’s Redwoods! ( with brand new trails! ) A perfect spot for cyclists and hikers. Sonoma wine country is only 35-45 minutes away!! Beaches and hiking and Point Reyes, are also 35-45 minutes away and there are loads to choose from! PETS: MUST specify if you are bringing pets. Pet fee is $45.00 PER pet ( 2 max) There will be $100.00 fee for pet mistakes, carpet stains, or any dog damage. I just need to know ahead of time since we have cats and dogs on the property as well. Our animals are very friendly. But will bark at you until you become friends. Please do NOT leave your dogs alone. ASK! Early check in when available! It’s totally out of the way of the rest of the house) Checkout is super EASY! Drop your Towels, robes, slippers into the hamper, wash your dishes and that’s it! Turn off heater and leave door WIDE OPEN. No parties of any kind allowed! Guest access Beautiful hot tub! Completely private, has its own little deck, chairs and mini table for your snacks and drinks. It sits up on a knoll overlooking the gardens. Listen to the waterfall in the hot tub or the birds in the trees all around you. Just follow the lights outside your front door up to the patio past main house, up stairs to the right, and you will be in your own private paradise . Hot tub is open for you from checkin until 11 pm and the lights automatically shut down at 11 . This helps keep our neighbors happy.😊 Please turn hot tub back to 102 if you turn it down so nexts guests get a hot tub. Thank you so much. Other things to note Everything is completely private, but you will see my husband and I once in a while going to our cars, or outside retrieving the pups. We have 1 cat, Skooter and 3 mini golden doodles, Mama Remi and Baby Daisy and Rylie. If dogs don’t get along with cats, they can be asked to be leashed or we can work out details. Please be careful while parking as our dog is very young and does not understand cars quite yet. Owners live in the main house on the same property, sometimes you will see them walking to the car or walking with dogs. That’s it unless you need something . The main patio becomes very rustic during the seasonal changes and rain so please use the covered porch as your hang out when it’s winter time. However if you enjoy rustic seasonal beauty then it’s awesome! There are 2 cotton robes and slippers provided during your stay. ( they are not to be taken home and there is a $50.00 charge if the slippers or robes are taken). I try to provide you with every comfort from home so I hope you find all you need to enjoy your stay!
