On foot from my house: CIBC & TD banks, a whole host of ethnic restaurants, bakeries with fresh bakery products, lots of shops, various services, a massive park, etc; 7 mins to No Frills - a massive budget food and basic necessities store (proven the lowest prices in Toronto, you will save a fortune if you purchase commodities there rather than in other supermarkets, especially those in the downtown, where such products cost two-three times higher), 5 mins to Wine Kitz liquor store, 2 mins to a discounted tobacco store, 3 mins to pharmacies, 3 mins to a hair & nails parlors, 7 mins to a gas station with Tim Hortons; 4 mins to a Chinese open buffet & Starbucks; 1 min to Pizza Pizza, 5 mins to convenience store, 3 mins to an animal hospital, 5-7 mins to two car service centers; 10 mins by bus to 24x7 open Metro supermarket; 15 mins walk/3 mins by bus to Cosco & Home Depot. Cook (only light cooking) and eat any time in the fully equipped shared (normally with 0 to 1 adults) kitchen or in your room. The kitchen contains a big refrigerator, a stove, cupboards, all essential kitchen appliances: a microwave, kettle, toaster, blender, etc.; and plenty of utensils: pans, frying pans, graters, sandwich makers, plates, mugs and other kitchenware.
