The room features a lovely shower room with WC, located on the landing, offering privacy and comfort, while being easily accessible from your room. The space Welcome to Le Domaine des Tilleuls, we are pleased to host you in our beautiful 19th-century bourgeois house, nestled in the heart of the Charente countryside. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be charmed by the authenticity of the place and the peaceful atmosphere it offers. Outside, the tree-lined park invites you to wander. Relax on a sun lounger beneath the large lime tree, or indulge in a moment of wellness in our heated spa, discreetly tucked away in a quiet corner of the garden, shaded by the creeping vine. We will also be delighted to share with you the wine-making history of our home, by unveiling its former distillery, a unique space where you will discover its brick chimneys and beautiful stills, all remnants of an exceptional past. Pets are welcome, provided they are clean and sociable: we share the house with two little Westies and a cat. You can safely park your vehicle within the property, out of sight. Guest access On the ground floor, you will be welcomed by an elegant living room with refined decor, featuring a cozy fireplace. You will also find a welcoming kitchen, complete with its own fireplace, where we serve breakfast — or, if you prefer, in the privacy of your bedroom. You will also have access to our tree-lined park and the heated spa, a true invitation to relaxation. Additionally, a secure parking space is reserved for you, sheltered within the property. During your stay We live on-site and will be happy to assist with any questions or provide any help you may need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Discover Angoulême, the capital of comics, where history and modernity meet through its ramparts and museums. Cognac, with its iconic distilleries, invites you to dive into the world of the eponymous spirit. Don’t miss the Château de la Rochefoucauld, a majestic example of medieval architecture. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the Charente Valley, perfect for a boat trip, as well as charming villages like Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure and Jarnac. For a historical experience, visit the Paper Museum in Angoulême and the Abbey of Saint-Amant-de-Boixe, which reveal the secrets of this beautiful region’s past.
