Welcome to your dream place at Åpta! Here you wake up to a magnificent view of the fjord, where the sunlight glitters in the water and nature embraces you from all sides. The holiday home is located on a hill, about 100 meters above sea level. By the lake you can swim and fish. The holiday home is sunny from early morning to late evening. This is the place for memories that last – whether you come with family, friends or just want a peaceful break from everyday life. Parking right by the cabin. The space The holiday home contains 4 bedrooms, combined kitchen and living room with exit to a large terrace. There is a full bathroom downstairs with washing machine and dryer. In addition, there is a toilet upstairs. On the second floor of the house you will also find a separate loft living room. There are lovely views of Åptafjorden from the holiday home. Guest access Our guests use the entire vacation home during their stay. There is room for a maximum of 8 people and 1 child under 2 years in a crib. We also have a close cooperation with the owner/landlord of the neighboring holiday home which is almost identical and with the same capacity and standard. It is therefore possible to rent both holiday homes if you travel more in the same travel party. This presupposes available capacity. Please contact us to coordinate the rental of both units. We do not allow renting to young people without a special agreement. Other things to note The holiday home will be new in 2026. New pictures will be added continuously. Outside, there will be a lawn, a terrace, garden furniture, and a barbecue. There is also a planned soccer field for activities 50 meters from the cabin. The four bedrooms are equipped with new double beds and blackout roller blinds as well as quality duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels. There is good parking for several cars near the holiday home. There is a good and paved road up to the holiday home. From the exit by the lake there is about 100 meters of ascent to the holiday home. Our vacation home is number 2 in a row of 6. 3 are under construction, and 3 are finished. Down by the fjord there is a marina with fishing and swimming facilities. We can also arrange boat rentals. It is about a 12 minute drive to Farsund city center - a cozy southern town with rich trade and service offerings. There are also great hiking possibilities nearby. Åpta is a southern idyll with everything you need. Åpta is beautifully located at the innermost part of Åptafjorden in Farsund municipality, surrounded by mountains, lake and fresh sea air. This is a perfect place for those who want peace, nature experiences and good facilities. Åpta Feriesenter is the heart of the area – here you will find: Heated pool for lovely baths regardless of the weather in the summer season. Kiosk with ice cream, snacks and what you need for a relaxing day in the summer season. Short distance to beach and boating, with possibility for fishing and trips in the archipelago. Just a short drive away are Lyngdal and Farsund, known for their beautiful sandy beaches that have been mentioned in the international press. Here you can experience chalk-white beaches, clear waters and a real southern atmosphere. The area also offers great hiking opportunities, boat trips and activities for the whole family – a perfect starting point for exploring Sørlandet. Boat rental is available from local suppliers. We can mediate contact. The boat will then be delivered to the holiday home's berth and necessary information and training will be provided by the boat owner. Farsund municipality can provide tips and information about attractions, tours, activities and events both locally and in the surrounding areas in the east and west at the Tourist Office. The service can recommend great hikes, fishing opportunities and various activities for the whole family. Here they give you tour maps and can help with bookings of surfing courses, and deep sea fishing trips or organized tours with local guides. At BUA you will find all the equipment you need to experience the amazing archipelago in Farsund. Here you can rent, for example, kayak, canoe, boat and SUP or other equipment you may wish. Our holiday home is about 1.5 hours drive from Kristiansand Zoo and about 2 hours from Stavanger. From the ferry terminal in Kristiansand it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive.
