Lodge panoramique grand confort au bord d'un étang

Description

🧳 Stopover no. 17 ~ Welcome aboard one of our eco-friendly Homnest retreats! A short walk from the Yonne, a natural border with the Seine-et-Marne, your refuge is set in the middle of nature, on the banks of a beautiful pond with clear water when the warm season comes. Come and enjoy a sublime setting just 30 minutes from the Fontainebleau forest and 1 hour from Paris! The space . Located in a micro-camp (3 accommodations) on the banks of the Etang de Benjamin, your host Homnest, the refuge has all the amenities in 14 square meters perfectly optimized for immersion in the heart of nature! 🏡 THE RETREAT • Sleeping area: a queen-size bed 160 x 200 cm (2 adults) and a sofa bed (1 additional adult, extra bed) • Kitchenette: fridge, gas hob, sink, utensils, dishes and condiments • Lounge and dining area with standing table and stools • Bathroom: sink, walk-in shower and eco-friendly toilet (dry toilet) • Soap, towels and bedding provided • Heating by a gas stove • Ceiling fan to cool you down (no air conditioning) • Outdoor furniture (except in winter): table, chairs & deck chairs (no barbecue) • Drinking water via an 8-liter fountain • Tap water: Do not drink tap water, which is not potable (tank) • Cleaning included ✓ Check-in: from 4 PM ✓ Check-out: before 10 AM ✓ Key box available in case of late arrivals ✓ Free parking 🔥 HEATING • Thanks to its powerful stove, your retreat becomes a truly warm cocoon, even when the cold winter temperatures are raging outside. Within minutes, an enveloping warmth spreads throughout the lodge. A gentle and comforting atmosphere, perfect for sitting with a book in hand by the fire or simply gazing at the soft orange flames. 💨 FAN (but no air conditioning) • A ceiling fan will give you a feeling of coolness in bed in the summer. ★ ONSITE EXTRAS To make your getaway even more enjoyable, your host offers various extras on site (to be booked at least 48 hours before your stay, then subject to availability after this period) 🥐 Food • Aperitif board & beers (€30) • Bottle of champagne (€30) • Raclette package (€50) • Barbecue party: prime rib, potatoes, and wine (€60) 🛶 Activities • Swimming in the pond (free) • Canoe/boat rental for the day (€10 for the day or €20 for the entire stay) • Fishing session in the pond, no-kill only; catches must be released (€25 per person, max 4 people per session) ↪️ But also • Romantic decoration (€30) 🐶 Dogs are allowed in the refuge for an additional fee of €35 per stay. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed, nor are dogs over 25 kilos. Maximum 1 dog per stay. It is forbidden to leave the dog alone in the retreat in your absence, and outside it must be kept on a leash (other animals are present on the property). Any damage will be subject to an additional charge. During the day, your pet can be kept in your host's dog boarding facility, right next to the accommodation (price on request) 💡 GOOD TO KNOW The refuge is located in a natural setting and is completely self-sufficient: electricity is generated by solar panels, the kitchen and heating run on gas, and running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative habitat is also to become aware of its impact on the environment! As a result, a few rules apply during your stay: 1) Except for phones and laptops, do not plug in any electrical devices other than those provided onsite, as this may damage the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hairdryer, a straightening iron, or a raclette set. 2) Wastewater is filtered by plants: you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, dishwashing liquid) Guest access . 🔑 CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT ✓ Check-in: 5pm ✓ Check-out before 11:00 AM ✓ Lockbox available in case of late arrival ✓ You have free space to park your vehicle, near the refuge Note: Three refuges are set up at the edge of the pond. You will be in Homnest shelter number 2. The shelters have been designed to keep a private space as well as your privacy during the stay Other things to note . 📋 IMPORTANT TO NOTE TOO • The shelter is located on the grounds of your host, who lives and/or works on site. So you may come across each other during your stay • Possible presence of animals on site (dogs, chickens, etc.) • The refuge is not suitable for people with disabilities (stairs of a few steps for access) • There is no wifi at the shelter 🌿 HOMNEST, WHAT IS IT?
