Situated in an elevated position looking down on the stream below, the pod is the ideal escape from the busy bustle of everyday life. Ideally situated very close to the longmynd for those who love walking or cycling the hills, enjoying fantastic local food, fresh coffee and ales in the many pubs and cafes within short drive from the pod. The space *Please Note: The hot tub is extra to those prices listed for your accommodation. An additional fee of £100 for a two night break, further nights @£45 per night. The Hot Tub is wood-fired, this heats the water and is an exciting part of your experience. (It usually takes 2-3 hours in the winter and less during summer) for the water to get hot with somebody feeding the fire with logs every 20 mins where you can relax, sit outside enjoying the views whilst enjoying your favourite tipple/ nibbles. Our beautiful pod is fully equipped with everything you need. It has a memory foam topped 1000 sprung mattress on the full size double bed with heavy duvet and soft pillows which are kept meticulously laundered. The bathroom has everything you’l need to refresh yourself after an active day including two towels per person (three if booking the hot tub) sanitised toilet & washbasin plus a lovely hot shower and hairdryer. Cooking can be done on the two ring hob, quality microwave and all the crockery, four slice toaster and cooking pans, crockery & utensils you’l need. There’s also a gas bbq in the undercover outdoor area where you’l enjoy alfresco meals by the stream. We are a working farm with cattle and sheep which roam during summer months within feet of your accommodation separated by a fence you can relax and just watch them graze. We are within walking distance from our local pub ‘The pound’ which is dog friendly and serves great ales & food. The Hot Tub is situated right next to the stream so you can enjoy relaxing in a very beautiful place protected from the weather, listening to the gentle sound of the water rushing by with dragonfly and birds drifting across the water during summer months. If the hot tub is booked at the same time as the pod, we supply extra towels and enough wood to heat the water for your stay. ***Please note additional charges apply to those of your accommodation: Use of hot tub for two nights £100 Extra days charged at £45. Once you’ve booked your accommodation, just let us know you’d like the hot tub included. We’l then send a request for the additional money depending on how many nights you’ve booked. The hot tub takes about 2 and a half hours to heat up with a constant fire being maintained by the guests. Sadly, we are unable to provide a ‘warm up’ service as this is very time consuming, but we always say this is part of your exciting journey to relaxing in your very own ‘steaming’ hot-tub in a very special place next to the babbling brook. Perhaps enjoy a bottle of bubbly and some nibbles together whilst keeping watch over the fire as it heats the water.. the perfect start to your mini break! Once hot, the water doesn’t take much re-heating, even the next day if you keep the special lid on after each use.. 😊 Guest access The pod is accessed via a gate from the opposite side of the stream where you park. Walk over the bridge and past the outdoor seating area and up the steps to your very own exclusive view of our well maintained landscaped grassy areas below your accommodation Dogs are welcome to roam around the pod if kept under control and supervised. . Other things to note Please note there are additional charges for using the hot tub (see your accommodation for cost) We must stress dogs need to be kept on lead whilst at the farm to keep our livestock safe. We kindly ask guests to bring their own pet bedding and baskets as they are not permitted on the bed / chair in your accomodation during your stay.
