The apARTment : Charme and Comfort in Art & Design

The apARTment is a spacious vacation home on the ground floor with a private garden. A charming atmosphere with comfortable design furniture and artpieces of wellknown artists make your stay here exciting. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a nice meal. The space ‘The apARTment’ is situated on the edge of the village Den Oever, in the very scenic area of the former island Wieringen. The combination of an authentic landscape and the interior full of art and design makes a stay into a very special experience. It is designed and built entirely by the artist/designer Joost Speet, artist/painter Constance is always working on a warm and cosy atmosphere. It is within walking distance of the nature preserve The Wadden, a small woodland, " The Robbenoordbos" and the famous Afsluitdijk. The beaches along the North Sea are 20km away. The apARTment is also easily reached via the A7 and it is only 35 minutes from the Amsterdam Ring Road A10. Nearby is the busstation with connections to Hoorn, Alkmaar, Den Helder and Leeuwarden, from there the railways to Amsterdam and Schiphol. The apARTment has its own entrances and consists of an entrance hallway, a living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, a loft bedroom with a work area and a double bed (2x 90x 200cm), duvet 200 x 200cm. The bathroom has a shower and sink, with space for an extra bed 90 x 200, or a childrens cot. Separate toilet. Central heating throughout. Cable television. radio & CD player. Internet cable connection and WIFI . Space for a washing machine. A private garden shows constantly colorfull flowers and typical dutch fruit trees, with garden furniture and barbecue. Large parking area. For most needs there are shops in the village, a supermarket is nearby. Bigger shopping areas at distances from 6 km. If you are too late for shopping it is possible to ask a delicious meal cooked by Constance.
