Located in the heart of the Domaine de la Plante, this former guardhouse of the Château de Thuré overlooks the countryside and offers stunning views stretching over 50 km. Outside, a wooded garden and terrace invite you to relax, with a backdrop of remarkable Gallo-Roman caves visible from the property. The space Designed as a real cocoon, this independent, air-conditioned two-storey cottage combines old-world charm with modern comfort. Upstairs, you will discover a large bright living room, bathed in natural light, where the living room and open kitchen coexist in a soothing atmosphere. The living room has a large flat screen (connected TV with Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and others...), elegantly installed above an old stone fireplace, adding a touch of character to the space. From the windows, the view unfolds over the surrounding plains and forests, as far as the eye can see. The modern and fully equipped kitchen will delight lovers of gastronomy: oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, raclette machine, as well as everything you need to prepare delicious meals are at your disposal. And to start your stay off right, coffee and tea await you as soon as you arrive. A discreet and functional desk area, with all the necessary connections, will also allow you to work in peace if necessary. Going down to the ground floor, accessible by a relatively narrow and steep staircase (be careful if you come with young children), you will find a comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200), an open bathroom with double sink and travertine shower, as well as a stone fireplace, which give the whole an intimate and warm atmosphere. Washing machine, towel dryer, iron with ironing board and hairdryer are also available. The toilet is independent. Outside, enjoy a wooded garden and a private terrace equipped for relaxation and alfresco dining: a dining table, a barbecue, as well as deckchairs installed under a magnificent linden tree invite you to fully enjoy the sweetness of the place, in the shade or in the sun, according to your desires. The accommodation also has private parking, located just in front of the house, for easy and secure access. Comfortably accommodating 2-4 people, thanks to its sofa bed located upstairs, this accommodation lends itself to a couple's getaway as well as a stay with friends. And for the little ones, a travel cot can be provided upon request. 🧺 Linens are provided, including sheets, towels and tea towels, for a simple stay. Guest access The cottage and its exteriors are fully privatized for your stay, with the exception of the caves, which you can admire from the outside but which are not accessible. To park, 2 parking spaces are provided just in front of the house. Be careful, check the route on your GPS so as not to take the road passing in front of the Château de Thuré, it no longer exists :) Also, if you are driving an electric vehicle, you will find Tesla superchargers about 10 km from the cottage to quickly recharge your vehicles.
